Asian wildlife: Red deer (Cervus elaphus), Hustai Nuruu National Park, Töv, Mongolia.
I found it interesting that the pale flanks and antler structure are more reminiscent of the North American elk (Cervus canadensis) than the European red deer (Cervus elaphus). There is indeed recent genetic evidence that seems to confirm that the red deer in Mongolia are probably more closely related to North American elk than European red deer. Not unexpected of course given how the animals must have colonized North America from Asia using the Bering land bridge.

Silk scarves tied to birch branches, Hustai Nuruu National Park, Töv, Mongolia. In Mongolian shamanism, trees represent the earth’s power. Remarkable trees symbolize the lifeforce and may have silk scarves attached. Different colors represent different things. For example, blue represents the "Eternal Blue Sky" or eternity.
