Caught a female Blanding's turtle (Emydoidea blandingii). Interestingly, this animal was previously marked with holes drilled through the edges of the shell. This method is often used in turtle capture-mark-recapture research. This turtle was probably marked in 2002 or 2003 by Dr. Lang who also studied Blanding's turtles in Valentine National Wildlife Refuge, Nebraska, USA.
