Elephant fencing, Addo Elephant National Park, Eastern Cape, South Africa
Elephant fence, Addo Elephant National Park, Eastern Cape, South Africa. Originally developed in 1954 by Graham Armstrong (the park manager at the time) using tram rails and lift cables. This section of fence is also electrified.

Flightless dung beetles, Addo Elephant National Park, South Africa
Flightless dung beetles fighting over dung ball on dirt road (Circellium bacchus), Addo Elephant National Park, Eastern Cape, South Africa.
One of the beetles is rolling the ball, going backwards, face down. The second beetle appears to wrestle the first beetle for the dung ball. The first beetle then climbs on top of the dung ball apparently to reorient itself based on the sun, to set the right course to a hole.
