The van project: Electric blanket for car battery
The van project: Electric blanket for car battery. Winter is cold in Montana. Diesel engines benefit from a block heater, but warming up the battery also helps when the temperature plummets. Put the block heater and battery warmer on a timer so they will start heating up about 2-3 hours before you need to start the engine.
