Black-billed magpie (Pica hudsonia), Wyoming, USA. At this location the stream became fully covered by ice. It was around zero Celsius and there were some invertebrates out. The invertebrates were on the water surface and they were piling up where the stream went under the ice. The magpie identified this feeding opportunity.
