Sandhill crane formations (Grus canadensis), Platte River, Nebraska, USA.

This image shows two different groups of cranes flying. The upper group is flying over, the lower group is circling in preparation for landing. I simply pushed the shutter button when the two groups were perfectly aligned and formed this figure in the sky.
