I had a camera converted to an infrared camera with a super color filter that still lets through some visible light. Below are some of the first results. I attached a movement sensor to the camera with a wide angle lens to make images of this ground squirrel at a burrow. I think the structure of the sage brush stem in the first image (right hand side) is spectacular... and the colors suggest another planet... perhaps Mars, the red planet!
The third photo down below is a "normal" image to show the contrast with the first two images that are in infrared.
