Road ecology blog: Multifunctional underpass for a stream and wildlife, US Hwy 93 South, Bass Creek north, south of Florence, Montana, USA. The gabion walls and sidewalks allowed for a shorter bridge and reduced costs. However, this may also lead to higher maintenance costs because of erosion.
