Road Ecology Blog: wildlife jump-out, near Havre, Montana, USA

November 14, 2012  •  Leave a Comment

This wildlife jump-out or escape ramp is located near Havre, Montana, USA. It allows animals that are trapped in the fenced road corridor to walk up to the height of the fence and jump down to safety. Of course the jump-outs should be low enough so that animals will readily jump down. They should be high enough though to discourage the animals from jumping up into the fenced road corridor. Click here to see additional images of the wildlife jump-out.
