Montana wildlife: White-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) in the rut
 in the rut&layout=none&ref=https://www.marcelhuijserphotography.com/blog/2012/11/montana-wildlife-white-tailed-deer-odocoileus-virginianus-in-the-rut-montana-usa)
White-tailed deer buck (Odocoileus virginianus), Montana, USA. This buck showed up at just the right time and place. I was in a gully and angled the camera up when the buck appeared on the ridge. The open aperture made the buck stand out with blurred yellow grasses in the foreground and snow covered mountains in the background.
