Elk ghost at dawn (Cervus canadensis), Montana, USA. This is the season when elk can be elusive. Did I just really see an elk or am I seeing shadows? One second they are here, the next they are gone. Like ghosts... I tried to capture this by using a slow shutter speed and moving the lens along with the running animal.
